21 Tips to Crack the SSB Screening Test

by Premlata on October 30, 2015

What are the procedures on the day of screening it is known by all my dear friends if not then I’ll write a different section for that but for now please read the important points which are really useful for all of you who are going to attend SSB…

In simple word Screening is all about how we have represented our self in front of assessors.

ssb screening test

Let’s take an example that we are visiting a shopping mall, what is the most eye catching things there you see its definitely makes a note in your mind or not? Definitely yes, but there is something to notice that why that particular thing only caught your attention? There could  be several reasons like  it was having a unique identity, a shiny color or a impressive architect, it could be anything which is making that particular thing very special, and its grabbing the attention of people.

The same thing happens in SSB on very first day. Everyone say on the first day you should have to be very careful in each and every move ,yes it is true for sure but there should be something unique is required in you at the time of screening which should be positively visible to assessors not others.

Let me introduce myself, My name is Premlata Pandey working as Associate Engineer in Amazon at Hyderabad and SSB blog writer for Naval Journey.

testI am here to share my personal experiences with all of you in order to help you to crack your next SSB. I have attended 4 SSB exams, One for Indian Army, Two for Indian Navy & One for ICG. In all of them I was conference out “It was my bad luck”.

Then I decided to share my experience with my younger brother because he was going to attend his first SSB for Navy TES and the situation was very tense for him as I couldn’t make it in my four attempts. He came to me and asked “I want to go with your experience only, tell me what have u did there from first to last day and describe me the situation in which you felt confident and in which you felt you are lacking”.

I explained him everything what was the scene over there in five days and no doubt that he is a good listener and he noted down all my faults and implemented in his journey at SSB and the “Good News” was that he got recommended in his very first attempt. I was overwhelmed when he called me and said “Dii aaj apka dream pura ho gya ap ki hard work ka result mujhe mila hi I am recommended” (sister your dream has come true and your hard work has rewarded me and I got recommended).
