Bahugun, there are no stupid questions in life..it will be stupid if you do not ask a question and keep it to yourself…you will find the army guys at railway station of your SSB centre…on reporting to the mco they will provide you with transport facility to the ssb centre.i suggest you do not make any advance ticket of your return journey because you will not be sure of the day in which you will complete your interview followed by medicals…the medicals may last from 4 to 8 days also…you will get the money for both way journey on the 1st day of reporting to the ssb..you must be in possession of the railway ticket to claim the money.

In the intelligence test you will be give various situations to which you have to give the actions which you would take. The time given for this task is limited this is basically to test your instincts rather than thinking and doing some thing. In picture perception, they basically aim to test your approach to various situation. Positive attitude is the key to this. In the discussion test you have to attract others attention towards you.In psychological test your attitude way of thinking etc will be tested. In group testing you will be made into groups and given tasks. you will be observed how u make your team to co ordinate to reach the final goal. In interview patience and quick thinking and intelligent answers will give you an upper hand. In medicals you will be tested for blood, urine, eyes, ears, backbone, teeth, height weight, flat feet knocking knees, sweating palm shivering of hand. I hope you find thins information useful. fell free to contact me for further clarifications if you have. I will be very happy to help you out.

THERE ARE NO PHYSICAL TESTS MY FRIEND IN A SSB…I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU WOULD PLEASE READ MY ARTICLE ON PHYSICAL TESTS FOR SSB…REGARDING TEETH YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ATLEAST 20 STRONG POINTS. THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS IF YOU HAVE FILLINGS/ROOT CANAL DONE EARLIER.KNOCK KNEES ARE GENERALLY NOT SEEN AS A PROBLEM. IT IS NOT A DEFECT MY FRIEND. BUT IF YOU HAVE SO MUCH OF KNOCK KNEES THAT THE DOCTOR FEELS THAT SO MUCH OF KNOCK KNEE MAY HINDER YOUR RUNNING THEN YES HE MAY MAKE YOU UNFIT. BUT GENERALLY UNTIL SMALL EXTENTS IT IS OVERLOOKED AND MADE FIT. AS FAR AS I REMEMBER FLAT FOOT IS TAKEN A BIT SERIOUSLY. I AVE SEEN FLAT FOOT CASES PASSING IN BHOPAL SSB MEDICALS AND SOME FLAT FOOT CASES FAILING IN BANGALORE SSB MEDICALS. THESE ALL DEPEND ON HOW MUCH PROBLEM DOES THAT PERSON HAVE.

I MYSELF HAVE BOTH KNOCK KNEES AND LITTLE BIT OF A FLAT FOOT. AND I CLEARED 2 SSB MEDICALS. ONE IN ALLAHABAD AND ONE IN BHOPAL. SO IT IS ALL ABOUT THE LUCK FACTOR ALONG WITH THE SEVERITY OF THE PROBLEM ,WHICH MAY VARY FROM CASE TO CASE.

Thank you once again Sir. Please forgive me if I had any stupid query, but what I had asked at about Physical Test in PC LOGISTICS Cadre Jan-10, not for SSB .

Thanks once again.

WHAT I COULD MAKE OUT FROM YOUR QUESTION IS THAT YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE TESTS THAT WILL BE CONDUCTED AFTER JOINING THE ACADEMY…IF THAT IS WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW THEN MY ANSWER IS YES, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF PHYSICAL TESTS THAT WILL BE CONDUCTED THROUGH OUT THE COURSE OF YOUR TRAINING IN THE ACADEMY…BUT DO NOT WORRY YOUR TRAINING PATTERN IS DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY THAT YOU WILL BE GRADUALLY EXPOSED TO VARIOUS PHYSICAL STANDARDS AND AFTER TRAINING YOU ADEQUATELY YOUR PT TESTS WILL BE CONDUCTED…SO NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT…YOUR TESTS MAY HAVE 45 PUSHUPS, 35 SITUPS, 300MTR SPRINT IN 52SEC, 2.4KMS IN 11MIN AND 4PULL UPS .

Sir,
In PC LOGISTICS Cadre , in first stage ,we have Intelligent Test,Picture Perception,Discussion Test; For Qualifing First Stage ,What should be the performance standard? Or anybody doing well in any one of this three , how much chance does he has for qualifying for next stage?

In Second Stage, we have Psychological Test,Group Test & Interview. What kind of question We can expect in Interview? What kind of Question we can expect in Psycho Test?

Thanks Sir.

How the performance are evaluated? Is evaluation is done for every Test Or Overall on a stage?

Reply

Kumar August 5, 2009 at 5:40 pm

if you can make your question precise i can appreciate it better…i would like to tell you that the performance is evaluated based on the results of all the tests and screwing it up in one of the tests will affect your overall performance badly…so you need to do all your tests with equal importance …

NICE TO SEE THAT VIGOR AND ASPIRATION IN YOU…ALL THAT IS REQUIRED IS GROUP CO ORDINATION AND HOW MUCH OF JOSH HAVE YOU GOT…YOU WILL BE CHECKED FOR YOUR TEAM SPIRIT AND JOSH….TO TELL YOU IN SIMPLE WORDS ALL THAT IS REQIRED IS TO CO ORDINATE YOUR TEAM MEMBERS, ENCOURAGE THEM TO RUN FASTER…HELP THEM IN CLEARING THE TASKS LIKE LIFTING THEM, GIVING A SUPPORT WHILE CLIMBING WALLS ETC.,AND TO SHOW YOUR TEAM SPIRIT YOU WILL NEED TO SHOUT YOUR WAR CRY WITH FULL JOSH THROUGH OUT THE EVENT

sir I just want to clear something.
I’ve seen that, you asked not to book the return ticket in advance. But I stay in kolkata, and my SSB centre is in Bangalore and the reservation cannot be done if I don’t book the ticket well in advance.
So,I’m asking you that whether there are special quota to confirm the rail ticket reservation or not.
Please help
