Situation Reaction Test in SSB

srtSituation Reaction Test (SRT) is another test in Service Selection Boards in Psychology series, this is test of your common sense, you will be given some situations which occur in our daily life and your answer will help the Psychologist to judge your mentality.

No. of Situations – 60 | Time – 30 Minutes

You will be given a booklet containing 60 situations which you have to answer in 30 minutes; this time limit has been intentionally shortened as to ensure that the candidate gives the first reaction which comes to his mind without thinking much over it.

You must answer the situation as a normal person and not like Rajnikant or Superman, write quickly and use punctuation marks as the time given to you is less.

Instructions for Situation Reaction Test in SSB

  1. This is again a test of imagination (Idea writing test) most commonly known as SRT.
  2. You have to write your answers in page No 10, 11, 12 & 13 of your answer sheet.
  3. Write your answer in English/Hindi in the space provided in your answer sheet.
  4. In this test a Number of situations are presented to you. We would like to know how  you feel, think and act in these situations.
  5. There is no right or wrong answers with respect to these situations. Everyone is likely to read these situations in his own way. We would like to know your reactions to these situations.
  6. Do not spend too much time in thinking out the answers to the situations. Write quickly the answer that comes to your mind first. Do not turn over the page until you are told to do so.
  7. You will be given 30 minutes to do the test which contains 60 situations. Try to answer all questions in given time.
  8. You must not be in possession of any watch or any other electronic gadget.

I have applied for the observer entry for dec 2013 course but as some ppl are saying that they have received their call letters for the same, I don’t get any calll letter till now. and when i searched my call letter on the website it said that I have not been shortlisted for this entry! My application number is- SGP1331103736 and my graduate percentage is- 77.91.
Please tell what should I do now!

How to peapare for WAT, at times we miss few words coz of limited time, what is the minimum words expected to attempt by every candidate.

Sir, if we write a answer to the situation…and if it is negative answer….will there be any chance to lose the marks ??

dear sir, my afsb is on 26th august at afsb dehradun. . and I have not got my graduation results yet.. my result will be out by august end. so I wont be able to make my provisional certificate by the time of my ssb.. can I bring my confidential results instead of my provisional certificate?
